Fun fact: Director Louis Malle was only 24 when he made this film.
Fun fact 2: We'll do French things like eat cheese and drink wine.
Fun fact 3: One of Malle's friends suggested he go talk to Miles Davis who was in town for a performance about scoring the film. After a brief conversation and story overview Miles and his musicians IMPROVISED the whole score as they watched the film.
Fun fact 4: Jeanne Moreau was an incredible French actor and absolutely beautiful(her beauty is irrelevant to her skills or person however pertinent for this anecdote). Louis Malle insisted on filming her without makeup and because of that the film processing house REFUSED to make a print of the movie, out of fear of showing her without makeup! Louis Malle talked them into it and his decision was correct, she bares her soul magnificently in a raw and powerful performance. Can't wait to share this movie with you all!!!
